At the start you said what success would look like to you – were you successful (explain)?

Overall it was very successful and turned out even better than what I hoped to accomplish. I managed to show-off a multitude of visual skills which follows and attracts my target audience as well as the level of detail that has been produced. Overall making it a successful project for my self.

What was the hardest part?

The hardest part for me when creating the title sequence was getting the not as advanced double exposure to stay inside of the person when moving as it was very fiddly and very difficult when having a transparent background but still managed to get it working at the end.

What was the most enjoyable part?

The most enjoyable part was in fact the editing process. Reason being is because, I used a good amount of editing skills which I managed to implement at a high standard.  This was also a good learning process for my self as the research I managed to do helped me create the effects and designs. Creating the designs was also relief every time I managed to complete it as it was an accomplishment on something that I've not really been taught in class.

How was looking at other title sequences useful (2.1)?

My title sequence references were useful as it gave me ideas on creating my type of genre, the type of effects that I could implement into mine and lastly how it can engage the target audience. This helped me allot as I researched into more depth on how to create similar designs or similar themes. I also used the main effect in my title sequence which was the double exposure effect which allowed me to use two video clips at once.

How hard was planning your work to meet the deadline (2.1)?

Overall, the planning wasn't as hard as expected to meet the deadline as I scheduled everything that needed to be done before the deadline which is why I spent so much time throughout these weeks planning and choosing the shots I need, the visual I need and how this can be engaging when editing.

What changes to your workflow could you make in future projects to improve your outcome?

To improve my workflow for my future projects, I could maybe ask for feedback from my peers if needed to see if this type of design works best and maybe also change the idea a little bit in order to fit with the target audience more.

How could you improve your presentation skills (get feedback if you haven’t yet)?

Overall, my presentation skills were good and understandable to what I wanted to implement and create onto my very own title sequence design. However, there were at some points where I would repeat myself by talking about the same part a few times but by just changing the words up a bit. I could also add some more screen shots to show what I mean for each part of my research. The other thing is about the mock ups. The designs were very good however, I was missing a version two of those mock ups which was the other problem.

Who would you say is the target audience for your animation (consider: age range, gender, interests)?

My target audience will mainly be passive. My title sequence will help excite my passive target audience by creating an illusion of the characters with the settings which will bring the audiences attention when watching it. 15-18 year olds would be my primary audience for this show as it would appeal to those who are interested in dram and detective genres with additional crime in it. As of my secondary audiences, these would heavily draw attention towards adults at ages at 19-40. Reasoning to why it appeals to that age group is because, older ages are more interested in these specific genres as its entertaining for them but not just entertaining but the level of detail that appeals to them also.

When we’re talking about audience theory is there a theory that you could relate to your own title sequence, perhaps in terms of how you’d hope an audience responds, or whether you could bring in an element of representation?

The whole idea of my title sequence is to bring out a mysteriousness which links to the whole detective theme by finding clues in order to find the answer. I also intend to make my target audience feel engaged when watching the title sequence and also question to how was this even done ect. I also intend to hope that my target audience will also identify certain elements throughout the title sequence and what it could potentially be referring.

How successful were you at evidencing your progression and work as you went along?

I was very successful when showing my progression of the work I managed to produce as each of the designs and effects I created, I would then implement it into my blog to show my evidence that I've actually done it and so that people know that it was done my self rather than stealing it online if its even possible.

Which elements of what you did might be useful to you in your FMP?

The use of research skills and evidence will be the best bet for me for the FMP for this project as I'm going for a different path for my FMP however, I can still use the skills that I've used in this project into my FMP.
